Job summary

Ryde Technologies, LLC in Phoenix seeks an experienced Information Security Leader to define and execute a comprehensive enterprise security strategy, safeguarding systems, data, and infrastructure while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and industry regulations.

The CISO will drive governance, risk, incident response, and security architecture across cloud and on‑premises environments, partnering with executive leadership to align security with business goals and customer commitments.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Information Technology, or related field.
Master’s degree preferred.
CISSP, CISM or equivalent (required or obtained within 12 months).
CCSP, AWS Security Specialty, CISA, or FedRAMP-related credentials preferred.
CJIS Security Awareness certification (required within 90 days).
10+ years in information security; 3–5 years in a senior leadership role.
Deep knowledge of CJIS Security Policy (version 6.0) and FedRAMP ATO/ConMon experience.
Experience with SOC 2 Type II, ISO 27001 ISMS, and regulatory/privacy requirements.

Responsibilities

Define enterprise information security strategy aligned with business objectives and customer commitments.
Oversee security governance: policies, standards, and procedures.
Advise executive leadership on security posture, risks, and program maturity.
Define and track security KPIs and risk indicators; report to senior leadership.
Manage information security budget, planning, forecasting, and investments.
Lead incident response, SOC, vulnerability management, and threat intel programs.
Collaborate with engineering, product, and DevOps to embed security by design.
