Job summary

International Rescue Committee in Phoenix seeks a Development Coordinator to expand engagement with local communities, faith-based groups and businesses. You will manage private fundraising, coordinate volunteer and in-kind programs, and ensure donor engagement aligns with regional goals.

The role partners with the Development Director in Arizona to meet fundraising targets, maintain donor records, and coordinate volunteers and interns while supporting reporting and compliance across programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in social work or human services is required or strongly preferred.
• Experience working with diverse clients in nonprofit settings, refugees preferred.
• Experience in donor records, reporting, and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Maintain donor cultivation and ongoing engagement with local donors.
• Coordinate volunteer and intern programs including recruitment, onboarding and retention.
• Maintain complete volunteer records and related policies.
• Coordinate in-kind donations and fundraising events with the Development Director.
• Liaise with IRC HQ on national in-kind and corporate engagement for Arizona.
• Support Match requirements and fundraising goals with Operations and Programs.
