Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Valid California State issued Phlebotomy License.
• 3 years or more Phlebotomy experience drawing patients of all ages.

Responsibilities

• Assist with onboarding of new employees and initial training for a positive new hire experience.
• Provide ongoing group and individualized training for work performance and education.
• Deliver training on company policies, department procedures and Lab Information Systems.
• Develop resources and programs to meet training objectives.
• Evaluate and update training materials and plans.
• Serve as a procedural and compliance resource for department staff.
• Support leadership with quality and service metrics goals.
• Assist with improvement plans for underperforming employees.
• Maintain logs and records for trainings conducted.
• Provide training with respect and professionalism at all times.
• Assist with workflow during high volume periods; travel to client sites if needed.
