Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous work experience in a medical setting beneficial.
• Basic knowledge of human anatomy and medical terminology.
• Completion of a formal phlebotomy program; phlebotomy experience in a lab preferred.
• May require Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Collects and manages samples of blood and specimens from patients; ensures patient safety.
• Records and documents patient information accurately.
