Job summary

Qualifications

• Completion of a formal phlebotomy program; phlebotomy experience in a laboratory-related field preferred.
• May be required to have Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Prepare for and perform phlebotomy on patients of all ages, from pediatric to geriatric.
• Prepare and package samples for pickup.
• Maintain appropriate inventory of supplies.
• Accurately document blood draws in patient charts.
