Sanford Health in Bemidji, MN, is seeking a Phlebotomist for full-time hours (40 per week) at the Bemidji Main Clinic. You will obtain lab specimens, ensure patient safety, and document records while complying with standards and asepsis techniques.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Previous work experience in a medical setting is beneficial.
• Basic knowledge of human anatomy and medical terminology.
• Completion of a formal phlebotomy program, phlebotomy experience, and experience in a laboratory-related field preferred.
• May be required to have Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Records and documents patient information accurately.

Job Summary

Communicates with patients, collecting their health information and answering their questions regarding phlebotomy procedures.
