Qualifications

• High School graduate; familiarity with data entry and medical terminology.
• Experience with data entry or word processing is preferred.
• Ability to adhere to internal equity and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Receives specimens from couriers and verifies accurate counts.
• Logs accession numbers and routes specimens to the correct workstation.
• Picks, processes, and labels specimens per standard procedures.
• Answers phones and communicates pertinent information.
