Job summary

UMass Memorial Health is seeking a Phlebotomy technician to perform venipuncture and capillary collection for patients and to transport specimens to the laboratory. The role requires completion of a phlebotomy certificate or equivalent training and a high school diploma or GED.

Experience with venipuncture and specimen handling is preferred. This is a 40-hour, non-exempt position within our hospital setting in Massachusetts.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a certificate program in phlebotomy or hospital that trains phlebotomy techniques.
