Job summary

Pueblo Community Health Center in Pueblo, CO is looking for a Phlebotomist to perform routine venipuncture and assist with lab record keeping. Responsibilities include maintaining lab records, performing quality control, and ensuring patient comfort during procedures.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent with proper training in phlebotomy procedures.
• Graduation from an accredited phlebotomy diploma program preferred.
• Minimum one (1) year experience as a lab assistant/phlebotomist preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine venipuncture & heel sticks with minimal supervision.
• Maintain records/logs of lab work performed and provide daily reports.
• Verify identity of patients and explain the procedure.
