Job summary

MAKO Medical seeks a Patient Services Representative I to draw quality blood samples, explain procedures to patients, and maintain accurate records in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include collecting specimens, verifying orders, data entry, and assisting with billing and logistics. Strong phlebotomy skills and customer service are essential. Travel may be required to support territory operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Medical training such as medical assistant or paramedic is preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification is preferred (where applicable).

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures (drug screens, blood samples, pathology/cytology samples).
• Research test/client information and verify orders using lab systems.
• Data entry of patient registration and test orders; enter billing information and safeguard payment data.
• Maintain phlebotomy logs, temperature logs and specimen processing steps.
• Assist with monthly statistics compilation and special projects as needed.
