Job summary

MAKO Medical is seeking a Patient Services Representative I to represent our patient-first approach. You will draw blood samples and prepare specimens for lab testing while explaining procedures to patients and ensuring accuracy and confidentiality in all interactions.

You will collect specimens, verify orders, perform data entry for registrations and billing, and support daily operations to maintain high-quality service across New Jersey.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens following established procedures (drug screens, blood samples, pathology/cytology).
• Verify orders and patient information using lab systems.
• Enter all required data including registrations and test requisitions.
• Handle billing information and payments when needed, safeguarding assets.
• Maintain phlebotomy logs and equipment as required.
• Travel to Territory Manager meetings as needed.
• Support department tasks such as inventory and phone coverage.
