Job summary

MAKO Medical is seeking a Patient Services Representative I to be the face of the company for patients, collecting blood samples and preparing specimens for lab testing while adhering to safety and quality standards. You will explain procedures, build trust, and ensure accuracy in patient interactions.

In a fast-paced setting, you will handle data entry, scheduling, and coordination of specimen collection, and you must follow policies, with occasional travel as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Phlebotomy certification is preferred in certain locations.
• Experience with lab data entry and patient interaction is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures (blood screens, etc.).
• Research test information and verify orders using lab systems.
• Accurately enter patient data and test orders into the system.
• Enter billing information and collect payments when required.
• Maintain phlebotomy logs and ensure accurate specimen handling.
• Travel to Territory Manager meetings if needed.
• Support team with data entry, inventory, and phone coverage.
• Follow department policies and safety procedures.
