Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent or higher
• Three months phlebotomy training
• In lieu of education/experience, previous phlebotomy experience or formal training may be considered

Responsibilities

• Verify patient identification and properly label specimens.
• Input and track specimens in hospital systems accurately and promptly.
• Perform phlebotomy and sample processing as assigned.
• Maintain safety procedures and use PPE appropriately.
• Coordinate specimen transport and reporting to ensure timely results.
• Assist with other duties as assigned
