Qualifications

• Phlebotomy certification or MA certification or certificate from a phlebotomy program.
• 1+ years of experience in lab settings.
• Understand labeling/ID protocol and universal precautions.
• OSHA safety regulations knowledge for medical offices.

Responsibilities

• Performs painless venipuncture and capillary puncture.
• Identifies patient according to protocol.
• Prepares samples with correct labeling and bar codes.
• Reconciles outstanding sample reports at day’s end.
• Observes safety procedures and sample prep.
• Delivers excellent guest service to staff and patients.
• Performs related duties as assigned.
