Job summary

• Experience in venipuncture and specimen collection

Responsibilities

• Perform phlebotomy venipuncture and collect/accept other body fluids according to protocol.
• Identify patients using two identifiers and document collection accurately.
• Label specimens correctly and follow proper order of draw for tubes.
• Route specimens to the appropriate laboratory sections and verify request accuracy.
