Qualifications

• Obtains, labels at the patient's bedside and sends laboratory specimens as ordered according to policy and procedure.
• Uses knowledge of human anatomy to provide first aid and patient care.
• Verbal reports and/or documents in the medical record observations of and the treatment given to the patient to ensure accurate records and quality of patient care, using standard nomenclature and approved forms.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical and administrative support in the Outpatient Lab.
• Support delivery of acute and non-acute direct patient care in the Outpatient Lab.
