Quest Diagnostics Incorporated is seeking a Phlebotomist II for a part-time shift in Chantilly, VA. The role runs Saturdays from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM, with a pay range of $23.20–$24.90 per hour.

Responsibilities include specimen collection, data entry, and ensuring orders are verified using lab systems. Qualified candidates have at least three years of phlebotomy experience (including pediatric and geriatric collections), with high school education and preferred phlebotomy certification.

Qualifications

• Three years phlebotomy experience required, inclusive of pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
• Keyboard/data entry experience.
• Flexible and available based on staffing needs, including weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime.
• Must have reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and clean driving record, if applicable.
• The position requires the ability to effectively communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures, including drug screens, biometric screening and insurance exams.
• Research test/client information and verify all orders using lab systems and approved tools.
• Process specimens including labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing and preparing for transport as required by test order.
• Handle non-patient facing duties such as inventory, stock, sanitizing, filing and answering phones.
• Maintain phlebotomy logs and complete training courses timely.
