Job summary

Hours are Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm, with flexibility for occasional early starts or late shifts and possible travel to other locations as needed. Strong attention to detail and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of venipuncture techniques with vacutainer needles, butterfly devices, safety needles, and syringes.
• Experience collecting blood from pediatric to geriatric patients.
• Ability to handle high patient volume with accuracy and quality.
• Strong interpersonal skills and collaboration with DLO teams.
• Proficiency in basic computer use and data entry.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures, including blood and urine as required.
• Accession patient and test information into the Care 360 system accurately.
• Process and prepare all specimen types for testing.
• Obtain billing information and ICD-10 data as needed.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with internal teams, patients, and clients.
