Job summary

Inspira Health Network is seeking a Phlebotomy Technician to provide phlebotomy services for in-house, outpatients and off-site locations. You will perform venipuncture and capillary methods across populations from neonate to geriatric, ensure proper patient identification, and transport specimens.

The role requires strong listening and communication skills, a high school diploma or equivalent, and phlebotomy training; certifications preferred (ASCP/NPA).

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Graduate of approved Phlebotomy Training School preferred.
• ASCP, NPA or equivalent certification preferred or eligible.
• Phlebotomy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and capillary techniques.
• Identify patients and label specimens accurately.
• Transport specimens to the laboratory and enter orders in LIS.
• Process specimens in the core laboratory.
• Provide excellent listening and communication with patients.
