Job summary

Huntsville Hospital is seeking a Phlebotomist to obtain blood specimens from patients and deliver them to the laboratory. You will correctly identify patients and specimens, maintaining strict confidentiality in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Minimum education is a High School diploma or GED; MLA certification is preferred, and an Associate degree with biology/chemistry coursework is suggested. CPR training must be completed by the end of orientation.

Qualifications

• Must have strong communication skills for fast-paced environments.
• Ability to maintain absolute confidentiality in handling patient information.
• Must complete HeartSaver CPR by orientation end.
