Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• MLA certification from a nationally recognized credentialing agency (i.e. ASCP or AMT) preferred.
• Associates Degree with a minimum of 6 semester hours of biology and 6 semester hours of chemistry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Obtains blood specimens from patients and delivers specimens to the laboratory and/or sends through the transport system.
• Correctly identifies patients and specimens.
