Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 6 months phlebotomy experience or enrollment in a medical lab program with rotation completed.
• Completed Accredited Phlebotomy Certificate Course.

Responsibilities

• Collect venous and capillary specimens in inpatient and outpatient settings using SOP and aseptic technique.
• Perform bedside testing.
• Perform Laboratory Information System (LIS) functions.
• Provide instruction to students and personnel.
• Perform laboratory duties as requested by the Manager.
