Job summary

Actalent in Riverside, NJ is hiring a Phlebotomist for an on-site contract role. You will perform blood draws, label specimens, and centrifuge as needed, while updating patient information precisely and following proper specimen handling procedures.

Requirements include 1+ year experience with pediatrics/geriatrics in clinical settings; phlebotomy certification is preferred. Compensation is $25.00/hr with eligible benefits; position is fully onsite in Riverside, NJ and closes by Sep 20, 2026.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience working with Pediatrics & geriatrics in Hospital / Clinic / Lab is Mandatory
• Phlebotomy certification is Preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws, label specimens, and centrifuge them as necessary.
• Update patient information accurately.
• Demonstrate techniques using straight needles and butterfly needles.
• Label, centrifuge, split, and freeze specimens as required.
• Package specimens for transport and store them at required temperatures.
• Answer telephone inquiries and read laboratory results
