Job summary

Actalent in Willingboro, NJ is hiring a Phlebotomist on a contract-to-hire basis. You will perform blood draws, label specimens, and process them for transport in a fully onsite role.

Requirements: 1+ year experience with pediatrics and geriatrics in hospital/clinic/lab, phlebotomy certification preferred. Pay is $25 per hour; benefits include medical/dental/vision, 401(k), life insurance, disability, HSA, PTO.

Qualifications

• 1+ Year of experience working with Pediatrics & geriatrics in Hospital / Clinic / Lab is Mandatory
• Phlebotomy certification is Preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws, label specimens, and centrifuge them as necessary.
• Update patient information accurately.
• Demonstrate techniques using straight needles and butterfly needles.
• Label, centrifuge, split, and freeze specimens as required.
• Package specimens for transport and store them at required temperatures.
• Answer telephone inquiries and read laboratory results
