Actalent is hiring a Phlebotomist for a contract role based in Dunellen, New Jersey. You will perform blood draws, label specimens, centrifuge when needed, and update patient information while ensuring accuracy and safety.

This onsite position offers $25.00 per hour, with benefits including medical, dental, and vision coverage, a 401(k) plan, life insurance, disability coverage, HSA, transportation benefits, EAP, and PTO.

Qualifications

• 6+ Months of experience working with Pediatrics & geriatrics in Hospital / Clinic / Lab is Mandatory
• Phlebotomy certification is Preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws, label specimens, and centrifuge them as necessary.
• Update patient information accurately.
• Demonstrate techniques using straight needles and butterfly needles.
• Label, centrifuge, split, and freeze specimens as required.
• Package specimens for transport and store them at required temperatures.
• Answer telephone inquiries and read laboratory results
