Qualifications

• One year of relevant phlebotomy or venous access experience is preferred.
• Completion of an accredited phlebotomy program is preferred.
• Certification eligibility preferred from ASCP, ASPT, AMT, NHA or other national accrediting agencies.

Responsibilities

• Collect blood samples from patients using proper techniques and safety protocols.
• Prepare and label specimens accurately for laboratory testing or transfusions.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, following infection control guidelines.
• Assist patients by explaining procedures and ensuring their comfort.
