Qualifications
One year of relevant phlebotomy or venous access experience is preferred.
Completion of an accredited phlebotomy program is preferred.
Certification eligibility preferred from ASCP, ASPT, AMT, NHA or other national accrediting agencies.
Responsibilities
Collect blood samples from patients using proper techniques and safety protocols.
Prepare and label specimens accurately for laboratory testing or transfusions.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment, following infection control guidelines.
