Job summary

Sonora Quest Laboratories seeks a Phlebotomist to collect and process specimens across hospital facilities, PSCs, in-office phlebotomy locations, and mobile services. You will manage patient data entry, specimen labeling, and timely transport to the testing areas.

Responsibilities include adhering to policies, ensuring accuracy, privacy (HIPAA), and contributing to quality assurance while supporting departmental cost-saving initiatives and strong customer service.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent (state dependent).
• Completion of a phlebotomy program or phlebotomy experience.
• Phlebotomy certification as defined by state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Collect and receive biological specimens and prepare for testing.
• Enter and verify patient demographics, tests and location data.
• Ensure specimen integrity; label and deliver to the technical area.
