Job summary

Sonora Quest Laboratories/ Laboratory Sciences of Arizona is seeking a Phlebotomist to collect and process specimens across Hospital Facilities, PSCs, IOPs, or MDSs in Arizona. The role may require coverage at multiple locations and occasional travel.

You will enter specimens into the computer, prepare samples for testing, and support pre- and post-analytical work in accordance with policy and regulatory standards. Flexible hours, weekends, and on-call duties may be required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required; state regulatory rules may apply.
• Phlebotomy program completion or phlebotomy experience.
• Phlebotomy certification required per state regulations.
• Valid state driver’s license and auto insurance eligibility may be required.
• Willingness to travel and cover multiple locations; flexible hours, weekends, holidays, and on-call duties may be needed.

Responsibilities

• Collect and receive biological specimens into the department.
• Enter specimens into the company computer system.
• Prepare samples for analytical testing and distribute to the proper analytical area.
• Perform specified analytical testing as assigned.
• Follow established policies, procedures and accreditation requirements.

Skills
