Job summary

Sonora Quest Laboratories / Laboratory Sciences of Arizona is seeking a phlebotomist to collect and process specimens across Hospital Facilities, PSCs, IOPs, or Mobile Diagnostics Services. The position may require travel to multiple locations and may include on-call duties.

You will ensure proper entry of specimens into the lab information system and support pre- and post-analytical steps. Responsibilities include specimen collection, handling, and distribution to the correct analytical areas,

Qualifications

• Completion of a phlebotomy program or phlebotomy experience.
• Phlebotomy certification as defined by state regulations.
• High school diploma or equivalent may be required depending on state regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Collect and receive biological specimens and enter data into the company system.
• Prepare samples for analytical testing and distribute to appropriate areas.
• Follow policies, procedures, and regulatory/accreditation requirements; support on-call, weekends and holidays as needed.
