Job summary

Banner Health is seeking a Phlebotomy Technician to join Sonora Quest Laboratories/Laboratory Sciences of Arizona. You will collect specimens, enter data, and support pre- and post-analytical work across hospital facilities, PSCs, and mobile services.

Work is a day shift with early hours and rotating weekends/holidays. Flexibility for multiple locations and travel to mobile/office sites is required, with focus on accuracy, safety, and patient care.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of a phlebotomy program or phlebotomy experience.
• Phlebotomy certification as defined by state regulations.
• Valid state driver's license and eligibility for company auto insurance.
• Be able to travel to mobile/various locations as required.
• Flexible availability for weekends/holidays/overtime.
• Career ladder progression through II–IV levels.

Responsibilities

• Collect and receive biological specimens into the department.
• Enter samples into the computer system and track with accuracy.
• Prepare samples for analytical testing and distribution to the correct area.
• Support both pre- and post-analytical testing processes.
• Follow Code of Conduct and regulatory requirements.
• Perform assigned analytical testing as needed.
