Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomy Team Lead to join our team in Elgin, TX. This role requires coverage across multiple sites and leadership of a phlebotomy staff, ensuring quality patient care and smooth operations.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of phlebotomy experience, strong communication skills, and a demonstrated ability to train and supervise others. A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 3+ years of phlebotomy experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide coverage and travel to various sites to perform phlebotomy duties.
• Assist in supervising a team of phlebotomists across multiple Patient Service Centers & client sites.
• Provide ongoing training to phlebotomy staff and conduct competency assessments.
• Manage patient flow, wait times, inventory levels and information logs.
• Address customer service issues promptly and professionally.
• Perform duties of a phlebotomist and site coordinator as needed.
