Job summary

Jobtailor seeks a Phlebotomy Supervisor to lead a team of PSC Phlebotomists and_float staff, ensuring efficient outpatient collection operations and high-quality service. The role focuses on staffing, training, and client relations in a fast-paced laboratory setting.

Ideal candidates will have ASCP phlebotomy certification, at least 3 years of phlebotomy experience, and prior supervisory exposure, with strong communication and detail orientation throughout all tasks.

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy certification from ASCP or equivalent is required.
• Minimum 3 years of phlebotomy experience.
• At least 1 year in a supervisor or lead phlebotomy role preferred.
• Experience working in a PSC or in-office phlebotomy site is preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage a team of PSC Phlebotomists and PSC Float Phlebotomists.
• Perform specimen collections and provide excellent customer service.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED
• Phlebotomy certification from ASCP or another accredited agency
• Three years of work experience as a phlebotomist
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Experience using laboratory and/or hospital information systems
• Two or more years of experience working in a lab PSC or in-office phlebotomy site preferred
• One or more years of as a Phlebotomy Supervisor or Lead Phlebotomist preferred
