Job summary

LabCorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team in Riverdale, GA. The role includes blood collection by venipuncture and capillary methods for all ages, accurate data entry, and patient-focused service in a fast-paced environment.

You will travel to additional sites as needed and may participate in an incentive plan based on performance metrics. A valid phlebotomy certification and COVID-19 vaccination status are required or eligible for accommodations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or phlebotomy training/certification.
• Minimum 3 months experience as a phlebotomist or equivalent.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all ages.
• Collect specimens for drug screens and tests.
• Enter patient information accurately in the system.
• Process billing information and collect payments when needed.
• Prepare specimens for testing and maintain logs.
• Provide excellent patient service and assist at site as needed.
• Travel to additional sites as required.
