Job summary

BJC HealthCare is seeking a Lab Associate II for our Outreach Laboratory Float Pool. This role is ideal for an experienced phlebotomist who enjoys variety, flexibility, and working across multiple locations.

You will perform phlebotomy, process specimens, and support clinical teams. Travel between outreach locations is required, with shifts Monday through Friday, 6:30 AM to 5:30 PM, no weekends or holidays.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2-5 years phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Experience in outreach/phlebotomy across multiple locations is a plus.
• BLS certification and phlebotomy license are preferred or required per role.

Responsibilities

• Perform phlebotomy daily.
• Process and prepare specimens for laboratory testing.
• Deliver exceptional customer service to patients and clinical teams.
• Travel to multiple outreach locations as needed.
• Ensure accurate patient identification and specimen collection.
