Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Safety: dispose of bio-hazardous waste and handle difficult patient situations; maintain safety records.
• Technical: identify patients, label specimens, perform venipuncture/capillary punctures, ensure specimen integrity.
• Work Relationship: communicate effectively with nurses and physicians; maintain patient relationships.
• Information Technology: use basic computer functions, email, and order entry applications.
• Clerical: secure signatures, complete forms, print/deliver reports, manage inventory.
• Additional duties: use Sunquest/CLM systems and consolidate orders; navigate high-volume units.
