Job summary

Talentify in Forest Lake, MN is seeking a Phlebotomist II for a 3-month contract. You will draw blood samples, prepare specimens for lab testing, and interact with patients with professionalism and care.

Onsite role with flexible locations to support multiple Patient Service Center sites. Primary duties include accurate labeling, verifying patient demographics, maintaining records, and upholding safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent — Required.
• 1–3 years phlebotomy experience required, inclusive of pediatric, geriatric and capillary collections.
• Phlebotomy certification — preferred. Required in California, Nevada, and Washington.
• Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic training — preferred.

Responsibilities

• Under the direction of the area supervisor, perform daily activities accurately and on time.
• Maintain a safe and professional environment.
• Perform with confidence, both the forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing duties following established practices and procedures.
• Verify patient demographic info / initials including patient signature post-venipuncture to verify tubes were labeled in their presence and that the name on the label is correct.
• Maintain required records and documentation.
• Demonstrate organizational commitment and promotes a positive image to patients, clients, employees and the public in general.
