Job summary

Talentify seeks a Phlebotomist II for our Medical Research client in Eagan, MN. The role focuses on drawing quality blood samples, preparing specimens for testing, and maintaining patient confidentiality while explaining procedures clearly.

Ideal candidates will have 3+ years of phlebotomy experience, 2+ years in a Patient Service Center, and strong data-entry skills. A HS diploma and phlebotomy certification are preferred, with MN licensure required where applicable.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred.
• 3 years of phlebotomy experience needed.
• Minimum 2 years in a Patient Service Center environment preferred.
• Customer service in a retail or service environment preferred.
• Keyboard/data entry experience a must.
• MN credentials/licenses required (MN).
• MMR, Varicella, Tdap and TB Test are required.

Responsibilities

• Represents the face of the company to patients who come in, both as part of health routine or for insights into health decisions.
• Draws quality blood samples from patients and prepares specimens for lab testing following established practices and procedures.
• Maintains patient confidentiality and communicates procedures in a skillful, safe, and accurate manner.
• Demonstrates leadership behaviors while focusing on process excellence and accurate record-keeping.
• Performs daily activities under the area supervisor, maintaining a safe and professional environment and ensuring timely completion of duties.
