Job summary

Talentify is seeking a Phlebotomist II for the first shift in Sterling, VA. This contract role runs for 2 months, onsite with a fixed schedule Mon–Thu 8:00 AM–5:30 PM and Fri 8:00 AM–12:00 PM. The incumbent will draw blood, label samples, and maintain accurate records while providing patient-friendly service.

Requirements include three years of phlebotomy experience, high school diploma, and phlebotomy certification preferred. Benefits include health, vision, dental, and a 401k plan.

Qualifications

• Three years phlebotomy experience, including pediatric and geriatric collections.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred; required in CA, NV, WA.
• High school diploma or equivalent; medical training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Draw blood from patients and prepare samples for lab testing.
• Verify patient demographics and label tubes accurately.
• Maintain records and documentation; uphold patient confidentiality.
• Provide a safe, professional environment and quality service.
