Talentify is seeking a Phlebotomist II in Sterling, VA to join our patient services team. The role involves drawing quality blood samples, preparing specimens for lab testing, and maintaining safety and accuracy in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include explaining procedures to patients, verifying demographics, and ensuring proper labeling post-venipuncture. Must be able to work at various sites as assigned, with willingness to travel and cover multiple locations driven by business

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred.
• Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.

Responsabilités

• Draw quality blood samples from patients and prepare specimens for lab testing.
• Explain procedures to patients and create an atmosphere of trust.
• Perform venipuncture accurately and safely.
• Verify patient demographics and ensure tubes are labeled in patient presence.
• Maintain records and documentation.
• Work under supervision at a doctor’s office, patient service center or other locations as needed.
• Ensure a safe and professional environment.
• Support confidentiality and accuracy of patient information.
