Job summary

Labcorp in Greenbelt, MD is seeking a Phlebotomy Site Coordinator to oversee patient flow, venipuncture operations, specimen handling and site logistics at a busy laboratory location. The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent and at least 1 year of phlebotomy experience; leadership experience is a plus.

Occasional travel to additional sites may be required. Schedule: Mon-Fri 8:00am–4:30pm, Saturdays as assigned; compensation ranges from $22 to $27 per hour, with comprehensive

Qualifications

1 year of phlebotomy experience.
Leadership or supervisory exposure is a plus.

Responsibilities

Observe and report any performance, compliance or staffing related issues to supervisors.
Manage and monitor patient flow, wait times, inventory levels and information logs.
Monitor monthly productivity reports and report any deviations as necessary.
Address any customer service-related issues in a prompt and respectful manner.
Promote teamwork, cohesiveness and effective communication among coworkers.
Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
Travel to additional sites when needed.
