The Patient Services Representative I (PSR I) is the face of the company to patients, whether they are visiting for routine health checks or significant health decisions. The PSR I is responsible for drawing quality blood samples and preparing specimens for lab testing, following established procedures. This role involves direct patient contact, creating an atmosphere of trust and confidence, and explaining procedures clearly and skillfully while ensuring safety and accuracy.
The PSR I demonstrates leadership behaviors, focusing on process excellence, confidentiality, and accuracy of patient information. Under the supervision of the area manager, the PSR I performs daily activities accurately and punctually, maintains a safe and professional environment, and handles both forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing with confidence.
Additional responsibilities include maintaining records, promoting a positive image to patients and staff, and adhering to organizational standards.
Bilingual abilities are a plus. Support roles include filling dark rooms, covering lunch, vacations, and sick leave.
