Job summary

MultiCare Health System is seeking a Patient Services Representative (PSR) to support Lab Services. You will register patients, enter orders, and perform phlebotomy and specimen processing to ensure accurate and timely results.

This role may involve specimen pick-up, report sorting and delivery, and supply delivery across the location, contributing to efficient, patient‑centered care. A high school diploma and MA phlebotomy credentials are preferred.

Qualifications

• Current Medical Assistant-Certified, Medical Assistant-Phlebotomy Certification, or Medical Assistant-Phlebotomist eligible - must complete the training within 90 days of hire.
• Completion of phlebotomy course or training preferred.
• Phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Previous experience dealing with the public preferred.

Responsibilities

• Register patients and enter orders.
• Perform phlebotomy as part of patient care.
• Process specimens and prepare for transport/delivery.
• May collect specimens at field offices or in-lab.
• Sort and deliver reports.
• Assist with supply delivery and other location tasks.

Medical Assistant-Certified

Medical Assistant-Phlebotomy Certification

Medical Assistant-Phlebotomist eligible

Phlebotomy course or training completed
