Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Current Medical Assistant-Certified, Medical Assistant-Phlebotomy Certification, or Medical Assistant-Phlebotomist eligible—must complete the training within 90 days of hire.
• Phlebotomy training or course completed is preferred.
• Phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Experience dealing with the public is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Register patients and enter orders for Lab Services.
• Perform phlebotomy and process specimens.
• Pickup specimens from offices and sort/deliver reports.
• Assist with supply delivery and other location duties as needed.
