Job summary

Responsibilities

• Check lab orders for accuracy and patient data per safety goals.
• Register patients in Epic and verify correct lab and insurance.
• Verify dates, test information, and insurance in systems.
• Scan patient information in Epic and other lab systems.
• Enter tests in computer systems and coordinate with physicians.
• Ensure STATs are processed within required timeframes.
• Collect payments for services as needed.
• Perform phlebotomy and specimen processing following CLIA/CAP.
• Maintain records and prepare reports for QA audits.
• Provide excellent customer service and resolve billing issues.
