Sioux Center Health invites applications for a Medical Assistant/Phlebotomist at our Rock Valley, IA location. The role supports laboratory staff with venipuncture, fingerstick and specimen collection, while performing routine duties to maintain smooth lab operations.

The ideal candidate holds CPT certification or phlebotomy training, or relevant experience, and will be trained by lab staff in phlebotomy and specimen handling. Day shift in a supportive team environment is offered.

Competenze

• Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) certification or training completion from a state-endorsed program or college; or three to six months related experience and/or training.
• Suitable candidate will be trained by laboratory staff in phlebotomy, specimen collection, and laboratory practices.

Mansioni

• Perform venipunctures, fingersticks, heelsticks, and collection of specimens as assigned.
• Assist laboratory staff with instrument maintenance, filing, charging, and related tasks as needed.
