• Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) certification or Phlebotomy Technician training completion from a state endorsed program or college.
• Three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• New hires may be trained by laboratory staff in phlebotomy, specimen collection, and laboratory practices.

Responsibilities

• Assist laboratory staff by performing venipunctures, fingersticks, heelsticks, and collection of swabs.
• Perform instrument maintenance, filing, charging, and other tasks as needed and assigned.
