• Performs proper specimen collection, including blood and non-blood specimens, with correct labeling and handling.
• Enters patient registration data and test orders into LIS/LIS systems, ensuring ABN compliance.
• Processes specimens according to established guidelines and maintains chain-of-custody.
• Maintains a safe, clean work environment and follows infection-control policies.
• Performs waived tests and assists with other testing platforms under supervision.
• Contributes to quality control and performance improvement activities.
