Job summary

Qualifications

• One year of laboratory experience or completion of a phlebotomy training program.
• Basic laboratory computer/lab information system experience preferred.
• Completion of phlebotomy certification where state law requires is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine technical and clerical functions to include specimen registration and billing.
• Performs venipuncture, specimen receipt and distribution of laboratory specimens.
• Will perform waived testing and assist in Microbiology processing and plating specimens as requested.
