Sutter Health’s Memorial Medical Center seeks a phlebotomy technician to support laboratory quality control and patient specimen analysis. You will operate and troubleshoot basic analyzers for waived and moderate complexity testing, collect blood specimens, and ensure accurate processing of samples for testing.

The role requires a HS Diploma or GED, a CA CPT I or II license, and about 2 years of relevant experience.

Qualificações

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• CA CPT I or CPT II license required.
• 2 years of recent relevant laboratory experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Support analysis of laboratory quality control and patient specimens.
• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory analyzers for waived and moderate complexity testing.
• Collect blood specimens from patients of diverse ages and backgrounds.
• Handle and process specimens for testing and input results into the system.
• Distribute reports and safeguard patient privacy and safety.
• Provide guidance to phlebotomists and lab assistants to optimize workflow.
