Job summary

The Hospitals of Providence Memorial Campus Hospital in El Paso, TX is seeking a dedicated phlebotomist to perform routine venipuncture, specimen receipt, and distribution of laboratory specimens. You will also handle waived testing as requested and assist in microbiology processing.

Qualifications

• Required: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Preferred: Completion of a phlebotomy program.
• Experience: 1 year of laboratory experience and/or completion of a formal phlebotomy training program.
• Preferred: Lab information system experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform phlebotomy duties as assigned.
• Handle specimen registration and billing.
• Perform waived testing and assist in microbiology processing and plating specimens.
